Sablon (Observes Report the Process of Ichsan Nugraha's Job)
This report of mine was based on my observation November 16th and 17th 2017, at Alba Street 3 number 51, Subdistrict of Rancaekek, Kabupaten Bandung.
To make this report as simplify as I can, I will let the story flow just as it was I seen. Its like I'm at this time, which trying to use English to writting, may be with any uncompletes of my vocabulary, and also with limitedly grammar which I understanding now. But I know, this is an essence of a process to learn in order to be better than before.
Ichsan Nugraha, the owner of "sablon's" business, accept me in his house which used by him for production place too. When I arrived, he was made some activities with his friend; a man who named Tedy Setiadi. The activities were called by: "nyablon". It is because in Indonesian Language, and it's any other mother languanges, the verb with "s" leter which layed early or in the first, whenever would to be make as an active in a sentence, ussually use "nasal" that can change the leter "s" became "ny". And the "nasal" doesn't mean only singular of activity, but it could be more than one of activities.
I gave attention for a few minutes at the first chance whenever they were still bussy, and we just made a shortly conversation during they did the job so seriously. It was because the order from Ichsan's partnerships of the sablon has limited of raw materials and budget. Thats why, Ichsan and Tedy feelt that they had a big responsibility in every orders which they accept in agreement before.
My suddenly visitting look like didn't disturb them. I could asking about many things to them, and they could answered me without obeying their works at all. I get one point from this phenomenon of indicator, that was: "proffessional" of attitude they given to me in a side, and to they customers in the other side as an importing partitions in the business. After finished one part from the sablon's process, Ichsan giving a time to his self; siiting on a chair beside me, and we were talked about the globally's step from the sablon's process.
He told me, those;
The first, made a design of any picture which has been agreeing with the customer. The design maked a copy at a "kalkir". He said that "kalkir" is a type from paper which the kind of it could saving the ink from printing out machine, a printer I think.
The second, the "kalkir" layed on the screen, after the screen has been already painted with the basic colour of the special paint.
The third, for cleaned the screen, can used liquid chemical, he called it as "M4".
The fourth, lay the major paint of making sablon to the screen, then swapt it after the plastics media layed under the screen. The slices of plastic's media can put as thick, its makes the swapt's process be more fasting. Don't forget the right side and the left must be near to tehe accurate of possisioning.
The fiveth, than let the products dryed naturally with the winds flow at a few of seconds
When I see the time of the sablon's process to swapts, which got started at 20:12 times of Post Meridian, and finished at 22:38 of PM. It had a result 70 of sablon's plies, plus 26 plies which "rejected" cause,- he said: it didn't perfected. Totally were 96 plies they got on.
Some evaluations be asked by me to Ichsan. He was explained another things that needing in the process. One of the thing is the needed of any media, like "solatype" for make the range between the plastics media and the screen, laying the middle from the "pigura's" screen like a figure from woods material. But if there is not in using, the medias can be putted on the end from the "pigura" of the screen. He told me also, there are several probabilities that makes the process late. Example: for getting cleanest with swapt the screen which full of the paint when it near time to dry. And these are some risks too about the base from the "afdrukan" as painting screen, like scroll up glue may from its kohetion to the screen, because it get not maximaly driying process at early time.
He said the result in that day is not his best record, because ussualy he and all member of his team can doing aproximately for 5.000 pieces from every days work in the time between 8 until 12 of the time's clock.
In the other chance of his time, he told me about "afdrukan". He said, for 'afdreuk' process, minimaly needing two factors. First, the chemical "afdruk" fixing in a cup. Then the second, for the tools, needing a hair dryer and a flat from glass material, like the glass of the windows. But whenever he shown the "afdruk's" process to me, there was an "accident". The accident was cause by late to up the screen from a while ligthening with sunshine. He said, it should need only a few seconds of time, not until a minute. But because it was late, so he have to repeat the process of "afdruk". And I know, the risks about the late should pay with more many time. Totally I count the time needed for "afdrukan" process that getting failure to be good again was four o'clock. It was from 08:00 After Meridian until 12:00 After Meridian whenever the voice of muadzin calling us to Sholat Jum'at.
Outer from the working process, I got a conclude that sablon can help a part from your project, to sale out your any items of your commodities as post stock product which needed to has some nice looking in its pack.
